Swim Training for Increased SPEED
Have you been spending considerable time in the pool, logging thousands of yards per workout, and not getting any faster? Chances are you’re workouts are solely endurance based and are lacking the focused speed work necessary for improved race results.
Our 6-week Speed Training program includes the high intensity, anaerobic work that requires a lot of effort, but also provides you with measurable results. Short, concentrated mixed intervals will be just some of the tools effectively utilized in this program in which our overriding objective is speed. Maintaining efficient technique throughout the workouts will be emphasized, but this is NOT a technique class. As such, folks looking to participate in this program MUST be able to swim 500 yards continuously and and posses a solid swim technique. This program will focus solely on the freestyle/crawl stroke.
At the end of this program you will not only be a faster swimmer, but you will take with you great speed techniques to visit again and again.
